Lakelawn B&B and Motel

My husband and I stayed here in October during a tour of the area. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the curb appeal of the entire property. Much attention has been paid to making clients comfortable and welcome. Matthew is a wonderful host, and very professional in his approach to the business...yet personable and open to chatting with clients to make the experience even more memorable. It's not the Ritz, but if you appreciate the above qualities, you will be very pleased with your stay. The historic building is fascinating, as is the decor in the office and the dining room. We will definitely stay here again if in the area. Thank you, Matthew, for a memorable experience!

'THE' BEST ACCOMODATION I HAVE EVER BOOKED! Staff was very nice! Rooms were good too! Toiletries were nice and the Motel Amenities were good too! Breakfast was really good. It was freshly made and had a lot of options! I like how they had mini cereal portions instead of those machines that give you a heavy portion other fancy hotels have! Fantastic place to stay! If you're working on the road, or looking for a nice, quiet getaway this is the place. It has a cozy feel to it and you're treated like family. There is no air conditioning but the breeze off the ocean and the fans in the room definitely make up for it. Matt, the owner is exceptional and is always accommodating to everyone. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. They have a quiet time after 10pm and I've never had an issue here. I'd recommend this place to anyone for their vacation. Give it a try and I promise you'll want to return. I've stayed here numerous time and will continue to do so.

My husband, myself and our dog stayed at Lakelawn Motel for 6 nights because we were evacuated from our home due to a wildfire. The manager and staff were exceptional, super friendly and helpful. The surrounding area has lots of amenities such as a park to walk the dog, a trail up behind the motel with deer playing, a gas station for snacks, two restaurants within walking distance, and we really recommend The Dinner Plate (which is like an old fashion diner with great food and decent prices), and a laundry mat with valet service, also within walking distance. The rooms were quaint, clean and roomy. The hot breakfast they offered was awesome, bacon was perfect. The motel itself is beautiful with an old fashion charm. Considering the circumstances which brought us here, we made it our home away from home.

Our second stay in a month and we just love this place. Clean rooms, nice people and convenient to everything.

Very clean rooms. The staff were very helpfull. The beds are super comfortable. We had a great 2 day stay!

This is a simple motel. Rooms are small but comfortable. Nothing fancy but wasn't visiting for fancy. Good location. Prices fair. Seemed like a great breakfast available, juice muffins coffee cereal all help yourself. We just did takeout coffee so not sure what was available when eating in.

This is a beautiful old B&B! It's sad that there are negative reviews (nearly causing us to opt for a chain hotel.) What a gem this is - the B&B was very clean, cute & quirky. The staff is very friendly & helpful. The free continental breakfast had great muffins & other options. Historic buildings are far more delightful & interesting, and this one does not disappoint. These folks have done a wonderful job of keeping this going at a time when help is hard to find & repairs are costly.
